The founders story

We’re Andrea and Dan Katen.

We built Avenity to give good businesses a clearer way to grow. The goal is not more noise or a thicker report. It is useful marketing that helps the right people understand what you do, trust your work, and know what to do next.

Andrea leads marketing strategy, client relationships, and creative direction. Dan leads operations, technical strategy, and AI-powered search work. Together, we help businesses make their message and their online presence easier to understand across the places people search today.

Our point of view

A clearer way to grow

Good marketing should make the next decision easier — for you and for the person looking for what you do.

Clear enough to understand

what you do, who it is for, and why it matters.

Practical enough to use

in the real work of running a business, church, nonprofit, or growing organization.

Built for where search is going

as search expands from Google and Maps into ChatGPT and AI Overviews.

Clarity–Authority–Structure

The framework we use to make visibility useful, not mysterious.

30+ Google five-star reviews are one piece of documented proof that trust is built over time.

The ADORA / Conroe case study gives a specific example to learn from. We share the work without turning one case into a guarantee.

Documented case studies

The current lineup, in plain language.

Six studies, kept specific to the businesses and evidence they document. A location or metric is not added when the available record does not state one.

01 / Case study

ADORA

Conroe, TX

ADORA became visible for local security searches, appeared in multiple Google AI Overview panels, and outranked competitors with more than 15 years of history.

02 / Case study

Dewberry Farm

Brookshire / Katy / Greater Houston, Texas

Dewberry Farm is documented in five seasonal AI-generated recommendation contexts near Houston: pumpkin patches, fall festivals, corn mazes, Easter activities, and Halloween events.

03 / Case study

Simply Better Roofing

Franklin / Robertson County, TX

Avenity built Simply Better Roofing a proper digital foundation and maintained a steady, no-frills local SEO program covering categories, citations, content, and Google Business Profile work. By 2026, when a Franklin homeowner searches for a roofer on Google AI Mode or asks Gemini for a recommendation, Simply Better Roofing is the answer they get.

04 / Case study

The Perfect Round

The Perfect Round Golf moved from 0 AI Overview visibility to showing in 3 different AI-search results. Avenity removed 2 closed Google Business Profiles, restored 100% ownership to the business, and left 1 verified source of truth.

05 / Case study

Easley Janitorial

Location not stated in the available record

After three years of fundamentals done consistently — no rebrands, no paid lift, no tricks — Google and ChatGPT now name Easley Enterprises first.

06 / Case study

Conroe / Montgomery County, TX

A young Conroe-area trailer rental business launched in October 2025, followed a guided DIY AI visibility process, and was documented as the top local 6x10 utility trailer rental choice in Google AI Mode on May 25, 2026.
